Cadmium telluride (CdTe) is a semiconductor material with excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency, widely used in manufacturing CdTe solar cells. As a direct bandgap semiconductor, CdTe can efficiently convert sunlight into electricity, making it highly suitable for thin film solar cells. In the semiconductor industry, CdTe solar cells are considered one of the most promising photovoltaic technologies.
When manufacturing high-efficiency CdTe solar cells, sputter depositing high-quality CdTe thin films is critical.
