It is extensively used in dental applications, such as dental crowns and implants, due to its biocompatibility and aesthetic appeal. Zirconia is also utilized in YSZtructral ceramic parts, ball bearings, mortar for powder process, crucibles in metallurgy, and thermal barrier coatings for gas turbine engines.
