Lead zirconium titanate is suitable for high-frequency piezoelectric ceramic filters, high-temperature transducers and pyroelectric detectors. Pyroelectric detectors made of modified PbZrTiO3 ceramics can be used for infrared horizon meters on artificial satellites, which are radiation resistant. High working temperature and good stability. It can also be made into a pyroelectric infrared radiation thermometer. This kind of thermometer does not require a bias power supply or an additional refrigerator.
